Two morose souls making music for ghosts and other shadowy spectres.
We come to you across the forest with messages of alchemy and wisdom.
Told in song, such high and mystic things.....
"Undeniably enchanting and mythical soundscapes ... incredibly dreamy." - KEXP
"The Seattle-based duo’s dreamy, dark, ethereal pop would provide the perfect backdrop for [David] Lynch’s noirish scenes of mysterious goings-on in the dank forests of the Pacific Northwest" - The Seattle Times
"Seattle's premier goth-gaze-techno outfit... The trio seemed to have been beamed in from a European metropolis circa 1989, blurring elements of Durutti Column, Cranes, and '90s German techno from the Tresor label." - Dave Segal, The Stranger
"Aubrey Bramble’s spectral voice [is] the pitch-perfect soundtrack for an apocalyptic prom... Songs for empty cities, flashing lights, the rain turning into ice." - Nada Mucho
"Nearly equals Beach House for affecting, gothy/gauzy textures." - Kyle Fleck, The Stranger
"A welcome mixture of mystery and magic—some sort of love child of Phantogram and Purity Ring—and it results in an audio sensation that’s equal parts beautiful and heartbreaking. " - Seattle Weekly
"Highly recommended for fans of Memoryhouse, Blouse, and Seapony." - aperfectmidnightworld
"Beautiful atmospheric music from this Seattle duo, with ethereal female vocals floating over luscious soundscapes. Inspired by Cranes and Cocteau Twins, their music has a sad and ghostly edge." - Bandcamp
Guess what's coming soon.......

This year we released a record that we poured countless hours of energy, imagination, love, and magic into, a record that at times felt like it would never get made, and one that we are supremely and ecstatically proud of. That record is "Reign" and the year was 2016.
We have many to thank for its dream-like creation and execution, including but not limited to the amazing sonic wizardy of Martin Feveyear, the spellbinding art of Kirk Damer, the enthusiasm and cheerleading of Barbara J Mitchell, the moving-image mastery of Andrew Sobey, and all of those lovely little ears out there who have heard the songs and have been able to discover a bit of beauty, inspiration, comfort, joy, darkness or alchemy in the notes and lyrics. Thank you to those who have supported the release so graciously through radio airplay, the written word, show attendance, or just by saying nice things to our faces. We are eternally grateful. We <3 you.
As a token of our appreciation, we've made our past three releases (Bellflower, Narcissus, and How Brave The Hunted Wolves) available for free download from now until midnight on January 1, 2017.
We're looking forward to making more magic with "Reign" in 2017, so keep your eyes peeled and your ears open! We've also got some new material in the works that we're excited to share with you once it's ready to rise from the ether.....
Happy New Year, kittens! May all your most glittery and excellent dreams come true...
Aubrey and Gregg
